Boys Who Photobomb

We were out on a walk along one of our favorite trails, enjoying our time together. My son went off to explore and climb a rock wall. As we waited for him I decide to take a picture of some wildflowers along the path.

Such pretty wildflowers with boy sliding down wall of rocks in background. I say that it is more interesting that way. Life is always interesting around here.

Through the Magic Door

I walk by this door almost everyday with Buddy. When I walk by it I often stop and look at it. It says, "KEEP OUT." The wall is too tall to peer over. So as I walk by I wonder and make up my own story about what is behind the forbidden door. My stories are probably much better than what is actually behind this door. So maybe I will never look and just keep making up stories.

Besides that, I'm kind of a stickler with rules.

My Little Terrier

Oh, he is the sweetest little cairn terrier around. We love him to pieces. But he is a food thief and I will provide evidence tomorrow.

Rainy Days

Lots of rain, I guess one would call it spring showers. It's nice to have some, it saves me from having to actually water my vegetables. I will admit that I love most just to tend to and admire my garden. So today it is raining again and I'll spend some of my day planning the rest of my garden. It is coming along and I have grand plans centered around lots of kale, chard, and broccoli rabe. Hope that your day is a wonderful one.

In other news, I have lots of new soap to share with you. I hope that the sun comes out soon so that I can take pictures.

Dogwood in Bloom

Hello friends, just wanted to stop in and share a picture of a blossom from our dogwood tree. Looking out at the backyard and seeing the dogwood tree in full bloom brings a smile to my face. It is a cheerful bright spot in the yard at this moment in time. The forsythia is finished blooming with it's fiery show and the lilac has not yet taken over center stage. So it is the dogwood tree that garners the gardens full attention. Have a lovey day.

Shallow Depth of Field

My picture of the week, the assignment was to use shallow depth of field. I love how my picture captured the simple moment in time before mayhem ensues and all children congregate to dye eggs.
