Good Clean Fun

I make soap. Sometimes I make so much soap that I have it in every corner of the house. My favorite recipe is a simple one, olive oil, coconut oil, palm oil and castor oil. But as a soaper, I can't keep away from the fun and exotic oils. I love to play with shea butter, cocoa butter and mango butter. I love a rich bar that starts with an explosion of bubbles and follows up with a rich creamy lather. I like the scent to linger and fill the room with the promise of a wonderful shower.

Lavender is a favorite scent of mine. It is relaxing and evokes a sense of calm. I see hot summers in California when I smell lavender. What comes to mind when you get a whiff of lavender?
